Santa Veronica, Baja California, Mexico

Santa Veronica is an amazing place to ride near the border town of Tecate, Mexico. About 70 miles Southeast of Downtown San Diego, Ca. Every year there is a race called "The Tecate Hare Scrambles" that a lot of the big names in off-road racing participate in, and if you are bold enough you can race with shoulder to shoulder. There is camping at the lodge "Hotel Santa Veronica" or you can stay in Tecate, Mex at a CHEAP hotel called "El Paraiso", $15 dollars per night. Be sure to bring your motorcycle registration with you when you cross the border into Mexico, bring only enough race gas for your bike(s) and some kind of locking device to lock-up your bike when you are not in direct possesion of it.

Northern Baja California Mexico is a great place to ride and explore! Allways ride in a group, never bring firearms, drugs or do anything that you wouldn't do in the United States. In Mexico you are guilty until proven innocent.
