When you're in Pittsburgh, check out Slippery Rock Dunes [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

I posted pics on Myspace, I was just there yesterday... myspace.com/sosnovy ....there's a whole Slippery Rock Dunes photo album but the pics are only of the MX track. It was a little tricky on my big-bore 2-stroke, 'coz it's a fast track and sometimes....well, I got goin' a bit too fast. It was a blast!!!

Did you ever run any of the National Forest Trails? I've been hittin' them on my dual-sport and this Sunday, I'm gonna' try 'em on my CR. The one-way, 14 mile loop at Pig's Ear (Marienville Trails) is similar to the old MX courses...like a fast cross-country course. It's a blast too!

There's more to "The Dunes" than just the MX track but thunderstorms cut the day up and we didn't get to everything. The sand area is a big flat-track (fun as hell), there's a play-pit, trails, hillclimbs...buncha' stuff!

I live about an 1.5hrs east of pittsburgh. Have any of you been to Rock Run Recreation or Mountain Ridge trail resorts. They are 6000 and 3000 acre parks. Mountain Ridge hosts Quadfest, well it is cancelled this yr but will resume next yr. Lots of free riding at all the local abandond strip mines.
