Default Kansas - Carbondale Riding Park - Open Riding Area

Take Main St in Carbondale West to the railroad tracks. Just before the tracks, turn South. The road will split, veer right. Follow this road 1.5 miles. riding area is just outside of town on the left.

Hours: Sun Up to Sun Down - Open Year round (weather permitting).

Type of Riding Allowed: MX Track with small singles. No doubles, many elevation changes, all natural terrain, some berms. Hare Scramble track with natural terrain. Observed Trials area.

Additional Info: Fun place to ride. Used to be a mining area, many large, hard-rock man-made hills/piles with trails on top of them. Very tight woods, no room for quads. MX Track is fast, open-no jumps. They hold Hare Scramble races and Observed Trials competitions here. Onsite maintenance/Gas Gas dealership.

Hey, I've been there before in a Trials Competition! Cool place to ride and we had fun betting where the bike would land after the launch off the cliff.

I see this is a really old thread. Is this MX track still around? I'd be driving from kansas city (approx 1 hour 30 min). Not to bad of a drive if it's an actual MX track. Trying to find all tracks around kansas city.
