Default Sound test at Lindon track

i was forwarded this e mail i just thought i would pass it on

Russ Tucker is working with Lindon city on building a track on the
Lindon landfill/dump. He has been meeting extensively with both Provo and Lindon city councils to get approval for a recreation/mx/riding park in the area. He is close to working out a deal with Lindon city on the track. This Saturday, March 15th at 9:00 a.m., they will be conducting a sound test to make sure the noise levels will not interfere with other activity in the area. The proposed track will lie on the Lindon landfill on the north end of Geneva road. It is visible from I-15. You take the Lindon/Pleasant Grove exit to get there. He has asked me to let local riders and supporters know about this for more noise and support. A good turnout will not only help legitimize the sound test, but also show support for a local riding area.
Will you pass this on to your mailing list and Sageriders?

> Any questions, please call Russ at 801-319-4430 for more information.

Russ Tucker has his next round with the Lindon city Council on Tuesday
night, April 15th at 7:00 pm for all you interested in getting a local MX
track here close to Orem/Provo. I'm sure he would appreciate the support.
The address for the meeting is 100 North State Street in Lindon.
Russ also just completed his training with the State to teach the OHV
class for kids. He plans on doing this on a regular basis at the Track when
it gets approved.

I guess I missed this too. That would be awesome. I work in Lindon. I could ride in the afternoon and shoot over to work at night.

Heard through the grape vine that the Lindon track is probably a no go. That stinks.

I'm not sure why, Kip Posey's Mom just said that she heard it wasn't going to happen. I'm sure it has to do with the city.
