| Haven't been there in a while, but this is my favorite spot to go riding as of yet. Name: Baumgardner Campground Area, Sawtooth Nat'l Forest Camping: Yes- both in the campground and off-campground Price: Not sure about the campground, but you can get some really good spots by the Boise River for free Map: I'll look for one Phone/Email/Address: n/a Hours: 24/7 basically Web Address: I'll see if I can find one Type of riding allowed: Trail riding Additional Info: There are some really awesome trails to ride here. Just to name a few- Kelly Creek, Virginia Gulch, Skeleton Creek, Grouse Butte, President's Trail, Big Tree, Lime Creek, many others. You can go up to the Iron Mountain lookout at just over 8,000 feet and look around (I think the actual lookout is closed now, but the view is AWESOME!!!) There is a TON of riding you could do here, and close by at a few other destinations. If you wanted, you could unload at the Kelly Creek trailhead, ride up to the top of Kelly Creek, then back down the other side on Bremner trail, and camp at Ear Creek. There are so many trails to ride it isn't funny. I've had a lot of good times in this area- if anyone would be interested in going sometime, a Memorial Weekend camp trip/ride might be possible- my family usually spends the weekend camping here and my uncles know the trails way better than I do. Depending on snow conditions you could easily ride 40 miles a day. |

| North idaho has some of the best trail systems in the north west. over 200miles of cut out trails. If yo ulike tight steep technical trails then youd love it. |

| There are also amazing sand dunes in Idaho, about three-three and a half hours away from salt lake. They are called Egin Lakes, there are other names for it such as St. Anthony and others. You can find information on these dunes and a few others at: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] If you have any questions or need directions feel free to email me. I'll reply.
