Default Toes MX Park

Hey guys, i dont know how many of you guys have been to Toes MX Park, but it looks awsome. Here's there site [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I'm going to be heading out there tomorrow afternoon, they're on Highway 26, outside of Royal City, WA. From what i know they have a pro-size SX , an Outdoor National , beginner, intermediate, and mini tracks, on about 86 Acres. Entry fee is $30 per rider for a whole day, and $10 per vehicle to camp overnight. It's only a 50-60 minute drive from where i live, the bikes are already loaded and ready to go. Just needa get some rest tonight, buy some gas and Monster and we're ready to rock! I'll try to have pics up tomorrow night of the ride! But if we don't make it we'll end up going to the dunes here, but more than likely (like 90% sure) we'll hit up Toes. Any been there? any personal opinions?

Toes is all right that back section isn't that big it just looks big I haven't gone in awhile I remember it used to be you had to know someone to even go there and it was like free. It's the spot where a lot of local pro's & FMX'ers go the tracks are not that easy unless you stay on the beginer track. BTW if you meet the owner and shook his right hand you'd know why they call it Toe's.

I think I remember a thread about Toes on here before. I remember we were making fun because one of the rules was "no rap music" and another was "do not chase the cows" lol!

Wow... i just got back from Toes and i'll tell ya this... that $30 was so frikin worth it!!!!! Was my true first time riding any sort of track and it was a blast! But that beginner track isn't really for "Beginners"... i could clear the ditch jump but it scared the crap outta me cuz i was worried i'd case it and brake my clutch lever like Wayne did, i could also clear the last table-top and double (3rd then 4th gear)... then both the CR 250 and KX 167 broke down (usually the KX is VERY reliable) the CR 250 had a broken clutch lever + bent perch (gave him my stock '01 Cr 125 perch + lever, it should fit) and the KX had a flat rear tire, was popped off its seal, and the rim went all out of true. So then they loaded up those bikes and i told them i'd be right back, i was ganna try the MX Nationals track... wow... i love that track... i could get up into 5th gear along some of the straights, clear everything except for a Table-Top Double, only big bores could clear it if they were gusty enough, but i'd clear the TT. Then their big Table-Top on that track was a blast... the dirt was so soft + loamy, it felt like sand in the middle of summer along the turns. So i'd blast out of the berms flying a huge roost (Dunlop Intermediate Terrain tire... frikin' big lugs) and hit the TT in about 4th with a tiny bit of pre-load and i'd clear it perfectly, it's maybe 55-65 ft? not too sure, anyone been there remember that TT in the MX Nationals, on the main track, im just guessing the length.. 3 guys... 1 bike... great days ride... I'll post some videos of that TT and the single once i get a USB cable for my dang phone. But yeah, i say that Toes is worth every penny!! It's a blast! and their Pro SX track looked frikin SICK! along with Fracture Farm!!

What do you mean it felt like sand it is sand!

I have ridden toes quite a bit it's just been a while for me. I like the JR/intermediate track the most it still kicks my butt I won't dare ride the SX style track the jumps on that track are you make it or you don't you don't usually results in an ambulance ride. Toes is good around this time of year into feb/march but once it drys out it's dusty.

Don't forget to tell them there is nothing for tree coverage there it's kinda in this lil valley this part of WA is rather desert like some of those big jumps get skechy when you take off and get hit by a big cross wind.

My friend who is 14 and rides a RMZ-250 rides the SX track. That's the only one he rides there because he complains everything else (except the fracture farm) is too easy.......

Yeah I'll try to get pics up this week, i need that USB cable! ah! its killin' me! well.. not really pics, they're video clips.. haha, close enough! Yeah, it was pretty windy when we were down there, i think the forcast was saying like 15mph? but it really calmed down as we were riding throughout the day. dude.. that kid must rip then... he must ride tracks a lot. Remember, this is the FIRST time i've ridden any track, i usually just ride the dunes and try to find nice lips to jump off of (max i've done out there is 9' x 50'), plus i've only been riding for 13-14 months, and over the past 5 or 6 i've gotten a lot better than what i was. Schwen, are u talking about the pro SX track? cuz that thing is pretty sick for a 14 yr old to be taking on.. i mean yeah i'd roll through it and jump a few of them, but to try and jump it all, heck no! haha, im not near that experienced.

wamxp1mp, that's not sand... u want sand come to the dunes here in Moses Lake in July THAT is soft sand, i cant even count how many trucks i see get stuck out there. Toes is kind of a mixture, dirt + sand, but it was mainly the Nationals track that had sand, everything else didnt look too loamy. But im ganna start working again, try to get a 250F before the spring (CRF or YZF, any suggestions?) thinking i might sell my cr 125 to my friend who came with us yesterday, he had a blast on it and wants to buy it from me for around $1300.

if you have to work to pay for your own stuff Keep the two stroke!! fourstrokes in general are REALLY expensive to rebuild(ask Zoo), two stroke will be way cheaper.
