OT: Anyone around here know of a good landscape company? I'm looking to have some work done on my yard. I have a couple of bids already that range from $6000 to $8000 for some stonework, irrigation, general cleanup, etc. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Anyone else make it out to Jones Creek, WA this past weekend?

It was real muddy, but tons of fun, and great to ride those trails again. One-way singletrack feels so much safer.

There's another open weekend mid March.

I thought they were closed until April 1. Shows you what I know! I just got my forks back from the suspension guy (promotion suspension) and still need to put them back on my bike. I'll be ready come April 1, you can bet on that! Mid March? What day? I will be gone until the 15th.

Have you guys been across the St. John's bridge? Or maybe traveled down the Willamette river on a stern wheeler? This Okie has. My grandparents lived there. I even built a snowman in Portland once. Everyone was sooooo freaked out because it NEVER snows there. A least, that's what they said.

It's snows a little bit every couple of years and once in awhile it snows A LOT! (6-8 inches ) They close the schools if there is more than an inch of snow I think Portland has just a single snow plow! I have avoided the St. John's bridge since it has been under construction for so long, but yes, I have been over it. I have been down the Willamette River on the Portland Spirit three or four times. My company holds our annual anniversary party there every April. It's fun, especially checking out all the mansions that line the river, and then the occasional dumpy shack that someone has lived in for the past 80 years

I live in vancouver and ride jones creek alot. I havent been to browns camp in about 10 years and I'm sure it has changed a bunch. I have heard good things about the trask but I dont really know where to go to find the trail head or ORV park ect. I know its close to the flying M ranch somewhere.

Good to have another guy from the 'Couv!! Are you doing the Rock and Roll poker run tomorrow? If so, look for two yellow YZ's together and the older YZ will be me.(1996) No numbers on my bike.(you can see my bike in my garage or my picture gallery) The other yellow YZ is a 2005 or 6. Both 2 strokes. My name is Ty.

My mother inlaw lived on Ivanhoe, right at the bottom of St Johns bridge. Portland gets snow just about every year. Not much, most of the time just a blanket and when they do those people wreck like crazy. I'm about 110 miles away from there.

Stuck in Lakeview, OR for the time being. If you haven't heard of it, that's because it's in the middle of nowhere.
