Additional Info: Out in Ocotillo they are very strict on wearing helmets anytime you get on a machine. I have seen the LEOs stop folks for moving there quad from one side of their moho to the other. No helmet, no ride. I have been going there for quite a few years. I really enjoy riding our there.

Let us know when you are heading out there Kevin. We usually camp about 3-4 times a year out there. We would love to get together again. We'll cook for you this time so you can just relax. Josh makes good tritip and lemon chicken. You are the carne man though!!

Do you go out there holiday weekend with the rest of the crowd or nonholiday weekends? We usually go on the off weekends because of the kiddos. It can get kind of crazy out there at times when it is busy. I just don't want JJ or Jake getting run over.

Seeing this thread kinda sparked up the intrest to go.

I really don't mind cooking but I would definately love to try the chicken! I'm not sure when we are going but lets plan it! I was thinking in Oct. Possibly the 21st or 28th? If you want to do it earlier let me know. I will be bring the toy hauler, 2 generators (5500 and 4500 watt) and all the essentials. We have a shower,toilet, stove and oven ect ect. I was thinking of getting the date in stone in the next few days. Nov 17th-27 we will be doing the womens cup in Texas. let me know

We are headed out there next weekend (Oct 6-8) We'll be out at hidden valley camp. Looks like it could be a tad warm still, but nothing compared to the actual summer months. Stop on by for a cold drink. We have kids, so if you have kids, bring them on by and make some friends. Aww heck, bring the wives too. Mine rides a 400EX.
