Map: Going East on I-8 from CA/AZ state line, take Arizona exit 12 (Fortuna Rd) and make a left onto Fortuna. Follow 1-2 miles just past housing developement on left. You can take multiple lefts into open area to park anywhere before the railroad tracks. Parking area is sandy initially coming off the road, so go slow. Going West on I-8 take Arizona exit 12 but take right onto Fortuna.

Type of Riding Allowed: Any Offroad vehicle. It's county land open to the public; however, you should stay to the right of the R/R tracks, no further East twds mountains or South toward Housing developement that are marked by 2-3 ft brown wooden markers from the ground. Anything past that is at your own risk conflict with the border patrol and sherrif's department.

Additional Info: This a fun place to ride for peewee beginners to freestylers to trail riders of all experience levels of all offroad machines. It's a mix if all natural sandy and hardpack washes, berms, doubles, table tops, whoops and anything else you might find. Further twds the mountains has rocky and hardpack trails. Also, there is a off-road motorcycle shop behind the Chevron gas station on Fortuna that you pass coming off the 8 onto Fortuna and plenty of Food places as well. If you need 100 or 110 gas, the Loves Gas Station off of Exit 3 has it. So, if you looking for some fun time to putt or race around or practice for free, this is the place and only about 15 minutes from the dunes.
