Your best bet would be Rio Bravo,

Open Wednesday & Friday.

Thanks!
A search turned up a "Skeeter" place but there is some conflicting information on if it is still open or not. Anyone know?

Ultimate MX in Alvin, Tx is open during the week also.
You can go to the Houston MX forum web site and they have a track section with contact info for each track.
You may also want to check out Three Palms in Conroe as well as it has several tracks to chose from.

Last I heard, Skeeter isn't open. But Ultimate is right next door. If you go to houstonmotocross.com , Ultimate and Rio will usually post their practice hours.

Three Palms is open 7 days a week, they have multiple tracks- including 2 pee wee tracks, prep days are typically Wed, Sat and Sun.

Rio has a day track and night track...and I believe a kids track, although I haven't been there since November.

There is also Freedom MX which is in Highlands. They're also open during the week.

Looks like I'm going to be rained out of riding
Ultimate is nearby but they are closed today and I haven't been able to hear back from them regarding tomorrow. I'd really like to try Rio OR 3 palms, but they require a membership and I'm pretty sure I won't make use of it past this week and $50 seems a bit steep for a half-day of riding... Anyone have any other ideas (trail areas maybe)?

I think RIO still sells a one day membership for $5.

Gusco,

Sorry I think your out of luck until the weekend, it's been raining pretty much every day at Rio & it might not be dry until the weekend!

You can call the track line at 281-454-4440

I'm planing on hitting Rio on Saturday, If it's not open I'll try Sunday.

Thanks for helping me try to make the most of the trip, guys. Unfortunately, I'll be heading back on Thursday. So it seems I'm out of luck this time.

As far as I know Mike and Char are in good shape, not sure on Howard as I don't think he does the Facebook thing.

I just read a post from 3 Palms owner....He has stated he may not be able to get the track back open as he had invested over 1 million dollars this last year in the track facility and it is now washed away. I sure hope this is not the case. I also know Rio is under water as well.

NO I don't do Facebook, but we're Really good here unlike some of our neighbors Just a few blocks south.

Didn't even get any water up the driveway! Very Lucky! As Kingwood got hit pretty hard.
