I wanna Stick the Flip

Gday everyone,
Its been a while since i been here (to ATM that is) ive been a bit busy with finishing high school and that. Im currently on holidays now and ive been riding nearly everyday and sut the other day i found this new jump.

Its a Small step up with a ramp of about 2 bike lengths that goes pretty darn vert then about 1 and a half bike lengths of flat a 4 foot wall then its a flat landing. The dirt in which you land on is aobut 2 inch of soft dirt.

Personally I was thinking that I could flip it. Does anyone know how to flip or have any pointers for me as to flipping to flat.

Im on a RM250 '05 so i know my bike can do it.

That upramp will not do for flipping.

You will need alot stepper angle.

yess i would modify it too. make it steep as hell and not very far since you will only go very high.

Here is my advice. DON'T DO IT! Not on that jump atleast, and if you are going to try it get a camera and i want to see the video. But good luck, hope all goes well, you can make a lot of money if you can back flip a bike.

hopefully enough to pay for the hospital bills! I dont know alot about backflips but i know flat landings suck. But if you really have ur heart set on it good luck dude.

Best advice is:

LEAVE IT TO THE PRO's....however if you are hellbent on doing it..by all means...do it

Can you even do a back flip on a trampoline?
Have you ever tried a backflip on a bicycle in the lake or pond...

That's where I would start...but like everyone one else who has posted on this...

It's good to see a young rider like yourself with so much spirit and enthusiasm, so I'm not trying knock you down or laugh at you but if you have to ask how to do a flip ............. clearly means you can't. (even though you know your bike can )

I would suggest watching a Pastrana video and see how he does it,I have a drawing of a free style ramp a friend of mine uses if you would like it.

First you need to get it down on a peddle bike. We are fortunate enough to have a bike park with a foam pit. If you can't get a foam pit, flip a peddle bike into a pond over, and over, and over. If you've never flipped anything you are going to be in the hospital for sure. It took me three four hour foam pit sessions to get flipping a peddle bike.
