how to install rear spring

i just got an applied racing rear spring and when i try to install it the directions say to loosen the 14mm nut and i do it then what? the eyebolt still wont come out. anyone have any ideas?

The eyelet is not supost to come off, you need to look at the ring at on one end of the shock it will have a groove/cut out in it. when you back off the preload rings you should be able to slide the spring retainer off the shock shaft, change the spring & reinstall the retainer & readjust the preload.

if your talkin about a xr/crf50 the directions are right. loosen the nut and the eye bolt should spin should thread off. mine did no problem
