looky here 2002 prox build

starting off with a 2002 prox 600 chassi, that has the 2002 440 racer suspension and walker evens remote res shocks all around, along with the 2003 pro xr steering setup...

Going to drop a big block 1998 liberty 700 in it, with the 220 cylinders (best 700 cylinders polaris made!) and will be using a 97 sks 700 CDI, has a better timing curve then the 98 CDI's.

Already updated my coolent pump to the 1999+ style so it will work with the newer chassi.

bought a 2004 prox2 700 y pipe, expansion pipe, and MBRP race can (silencer) for it.

Prox 700 engine straps are on order, should be here today or tomorrow. Soon as I have them the engine will be going in.

Im going to use my 39mm kehien PWK carbs rather then going to the mikuni rack style carbs.

Got a set of 4" fly risers, and 1 1/8" fly areo taper bars

I removed the horible blue paint from the trailing arms, back to the original yellow they go!!

Compleatly stripped the sled and hauled it to the car wash, cleaned the hell out of this thing. I wouldnt consider putting a sled together thats greasy!

The hood and tub are TRASHED. I picked up a 2004 prox2 tub, it took a little trimming where it meets the bulkhead infront of the shock tower to work, but I got it on and looking nice. Now I just need a new hood!

Here are some picture, and thought or opinions are welcome!

I will update this build with pictures as I make progress!!

I have several sleds, its an expensive hobby but man do I love them!

If you guys get any snow you should look into getting one! you can pick up late 90's 6/700's all day long for $1k-1500. At least thats what they go for around here.

My suggestions:
Your riser block is too far forward, it's gonna be weird to steer with the bars like that.
Invest in a better camera!

If we get any snow LOL ROFLMAO I want LESS snow ... my friend has been trying to get me to buy a sled for years I've ridden them and love them. With 6 bikes already though.... it's not as much the money for the sled as it is space to store it reasonably

The risers are loose still, I havnt figured out what Im going to do for a break setup or run any of the wire to the bars yet. I'm thinking Im going to end up using my break setup and wiring harness from my 99 rmk 700 I totalled.
Good eye though!

And yes, cheap camara phones are not the best for picture quality! haha

dodging roost, I beleave its time you invest in a storage shed! lol

My engine straps are in, now I just have to figure out how to finish putting the stator back on the engine correctly I can rebuild top ends all day but this stator has me confused. lol

Going to buy a hood tomorrow, used but in 10x better condition then mine! cheap aswell at $50, every other hood I'v found people were asking $200+ for used hoods.
