I have michelin tires right now, I used to have Dunlop but the treds got worn down really fast, The Michelin tires seem to hook up a lot better.

Still on Dunlops here

I got my first Dunlop in 1972. I have used them pretty steadily since. A few Metzlers and IRC tires in the mid 70's but now I am sold on the 'Lops. Just ordered (actually got them off of ebay ) new 756 sets for both our bikes. I had a set of 773 tires on my 426 that gave excellent sand and soft terrain traction for a while. The new track we ride needs a 756 for a slightly harder pack.

If I had a sponsor, I just might run the Dunlops. But the Michellins wear much better and I run the S12's on my CRF250. We ride mostly soft to intermediate terrain. I run the 130/70-19 on the rear which means I check my chain consistently. But the added width gets me the holeshot now and then. As with any product, I hear arguments about the cornering prowess of different brands of front tires. But from my personal experience with the durability and cornering bite of the S12, I will keep buying it until I ride one better.

I have to agree with you, I love my S12. My last S12 was the true 125 size tire, and it chunked and wore down too quickly. So I got the next size up, and it has proven to be quite an improvement.

So what tire did you get?

Dunlops all the way!!!! 756 on the rear and 742 up front. The 739 front is ok too. Yes, yes, yes......they do wear faster than other brands so save your $$!!!! I've tried Bridgestone, Maxxis, IRC (really sucked, knobs flew off!), Michelins, etc. and Dunlops perform the best for me.

I ride it all!! (MX, trails, mud, sand, hard pack, etc.)

Michelin M-12 up front and soon to be maxxis MaxCross IT in the rear. S-12 in the rear wasn't too bad either.

The millville is a great tire, unless you have hardpack, then it's even good, but the knobs chunk really easily.

I'm running Dunlop D756's.

I ride on whatever the terrain is like
It's mainly soft and damp/wet in the winter, and wet/damp also in the summer 95% of the time
