Question Quad Question

My dad is looking into a new quad and likes the z400. I was looking in Suzukis website and the comprssion is 11:3:1. To me that sounds pretty high for a stock quad. My question is: is the quad still reliable with the compression that its at? Or will it require more tops ends than all the other (liquid cooled) 400 class? Thanks in advance!

i would think that if they wouldnt last for a while, they wouldnt go that high on a stocker straight off the floor. have you looked into other manus. and seen what they are off the floor, like honda, yami, and pol? i would look into them and compare rates with them. i dont think it is anything to worry about.

I wouldn't be worried about it. That motor is a sound motor. It still comes with a 6 month warranty, which says they're not too worried about it.

I have heard nothing bad about the Z400 motors.
I also think they'd be fine.
