 LT 50 wont operate without the choke on. Hi everyone.....same story im afraid. Ive got an old LT 50 for my boy and it starts fine with the choke on. I let it warm up,then it dies when i take the choke off? I belive its a 1991 model.........how do i tell if its 2 stroke or 4 stroke? Might be a dumb question, but i really dont know. Thanks for any help/advise you can give.  |

| i believe the lt 50s are oil-injected 2 strokes and you can do a few things, buy a bigger main jet or lower the clip on your jet needle |

| If it runs with the choke on and then dies, you probably need to clean the jets in the carb. It's getting fuel through the enrichment system (choke) and starving on the idle and run circuit. |
