sandman, welcome to ATM! You will find a lot of good information and helpful people on this site. We all hope you stick around and post often. How about getting some pics of that new quad up in the new member photo gallery so we can all have a look at that bad boy?

I just bought one. Had it out for the first time yesterday. This is my first quad so I really have nothing to compare it to. It is one hell of a ride in my opinion. I have only ridden two other quads briefly. Suzuki 400 and Raptor. I didn't push either one because they were not mine. Yeserday I did alittle trail riding, hill climbing andrunning around on flat areas. It felt a little heavy but like I said I have nothing really to compare it to except my crf450.

Hey Sandman,
Just noticed you are from San Diego. I live in Ocean Beach. If you ever need a riding partner....

Superstition is my favorite so far. It's a little warm out there these days. I rode down off the 905 this weekend. Didn't get chased out. I've been hearing about a place just south of Rosarito on the beach which sounds like it might be fun.

I sat on a 700 yesterday at the dealer. They are monsters. It's kind of weird not having a shifter and having the Drive and Reverse on the handle.

Today I sat on one too. I thought it was a MONSTER quad. It thing I noticed for the first time was the switcher on the handlebars so you could put it in drive neutral and reverse.

I havent got to throw a leg over one of those monsters yet, but I have been wanting to try one out. Sure would be strange I think with no clutch, but with that much power it probably isn't necessary.

A guy was telling me that they respond to mods very well. A pipe is supposed to make a huge difference.

I have started looking at a few different pipes for mine. Any suggestions?

I've heard the DMC is awesome. The one I saw at the dealer had two complete separate silencers on it. Looked like dual exhaust out the back like a Banshee.

I have looked at the DMC dual exhaust. It does look nice and DMC happens to be my initials. It is the most expensive one I looked at nearly $700. The company you were talking about on the other thread that makes the colored mufflers also has a dual set up for the 700. I believe it was around $550. Price isn't the issue as much as quality.

HMF generally has a good product also, I don't think you would be disappointed, besides, then it would have cool colors to match your bike.

I second the HMF, they seem to be good pipes though I don't know how they are on the 700, and I don't see a pipe from them for it yet.

I know the guys that have them on their CRF's like them, but their aren't that many of them.

Thumbs up Re: new quad

Took my VFORCE out on a track today. Went to the new quad track in Lake Elsinore. Not sure if it is considered a good track or not since it is the first track I have ridden on. The beast seemed to handle the jumps well, cornering was a little tricky at times. I'm sure that is due to my inexperience. My buddy with a raptor was too hung over to show up so I didn't get a chance to compare the two quads.

Sweet. 700 on the track... I don't imagine it would exactly shine there, but it should still be fun ...

Probably a little big for the track, but how do you like track riding as a whole?

I may have to get one of those HMF pipes for me 250EX when I need more power.

I liked the track. Gave me a chance gain some confidence jumping and work on cornering. The track wasn't that great. It is fairly new and there were only 4 other users. I pretty much had it to myself. I can't wait to get it in the dunes when it cools down in the desert.
