buddys kfx 450 problems

my buddy nick was out riding today on his 07 kfx 450after stopping for a break he turned his key and pushed the button and no start
so he jumped it and it started
the next time it wouldnt start with the jump so he had to jump it and roll it forward to get it running
the next time he had a kawi dealer in nj "charge" it for him and he is still having an issue
anyone know what might be the culprit?

has he had the valve clearences checked recently? does it start any better when its cold? if the inlet valves need to be adjusted it will make it hard to start, usualy a decent push start will spin the motor quick enough to start it. hope this helps

Hey man, One of my friends from KY had one of those and he was having trouble with the battery dieing randomly like that. He might want to try one of those battery tender things and see if it helps him out.
