Yes.

I believe they stopped making them in 88'?
Is this correct Chris?

I guess they were one of the fastest 2-stroke quads out there out of the crate!

I think it'd be cool to ride one sometime!

Yup, they were only produced in 1987 and 1988, they were indroduced at the same time the last of the tecate 3's were still being made and sold. 250cc powervalved 2-stroke that is very similar to the mxer of the time's motor except the adition of a counterbalancer. They have a very "fast" design to their plastics that almost looks as if they are going fast while standing still along with a retractable headlight.

I do believe they were reputed to be the fastest 250 2-stroke quad out of the crate at the time they stopped production, they were supposidly even faster then the hondas, though they handle somewhat less precicely then the hondas do

Mine was in FAR from good condition when I got it and even worse after it was recovered from being stolen, currently the only aftermarket parts on it are an Airstyker and a full fmf exhaust sysytem.. (well and a shiny maier rear fender and a K+N... Lost the airbox when it got stolen)

It's seriously needing a set of shocks currently and I will probably get a set of shoocks from Works Performance in the future.. First I want to get it looking somewhat nice though

It is rideable, it just needs me to finish putting it back together, it had the shifter stick and I had to pop the sidecover to access the mechanism, but it does indeed run ok.

My current work schedule is fri-mon with tue wed and sat off.

I know somebody with an '88 that is pretty sweet. He is actually selling it to get him a motorcycle. What's up with that. His brother is buying a Honda 250R from me though, so his brother must not be convinced.
