 honda trx450r problem going back to the engine problem i changed my oil today and it smelled like it had gas in the oil now im no mechanic but thats not normal is it ?  |

| Re: honda trx450r problem allright thanks anyway if theres anyone who could comment on it please do ,taking it back to honda saturday i really cant touch the carb on it or nothing major because itll void the warranty just trying to figure out what to tell them when i go of where to start looking , thanks again for all comments  Last edited by B52 BOMBER; 04-17-2007 at 09:08 PM. | Re: honda trx450r problem no i smell gas in the oil that came out when i changed it and on the old filter ,in the other thread i have talking about loss in power someone told me to clean the carb and thats what i cant touch yet |

| Re: honda trx450r problem Don't really know myself? Sounds strange? Is it straight off the floor? What year? I did hear of a few problems with the 06 models, but that was in valve train and one of the arms...lower right I believe. Hope it aint nothing major. Do not tell them you race it. Sometimes they (Honda) will say it is your fault it does it just to get out of the warrenty. Saves them money I guess... Good luck. |

| Re: honda trx450r problem No, you shouldn't smell any gas in the oil. It makes me wonder if you have floats that are sticking, and causing gas to overflow..... |
