Default Anti-Fade Locknut on 400EX axle

hi,

i recently had to replace my rear axle bearings and i bought an anti-fade(lonestar) nut to replace the stock one.

Can someone help me figure out how this is suppose to lock in place ? Do i still need to put a snap ring ??

P1M works with a few quads and might be able to help you. I'll give him a heads up on it.

I figured it out today. And YES, you need the snap-ring with this anti-fade locknut.

What i did bad is, i did'nt push the axle far enough into the bearings carrier, so when i was screwing the nut i could'nt see the space where the snap-ring goes.

I hope this is clearly enough.
