| hi, i recently had to replace my rear axle bearings and i bought an anti-fade(lonestar) nut to replace the stock one. Can someone help me figure out how this is suppose to lock in place ? Do i still need to put a snap ring ?? |

| I figured it out today. And YES, you need the snap-ring with this anti-fade locknut. What i did bad is, i did'nt push the axle far enough into the bearings carrier, so when i was screwing the nut i could'nt see the space where the snap-ring goes. I hope this is clearly enough. |
