i have a 400ex i want to get a suspension setup that will work for motorcross under $800. what about 450r suspnesion on a 400ex?? i would prefer works suspension but can i put work's on the front and then 450r on the rear??

I have a set of WORKS shocks I'd sell ya fairly cheap. Only thing they need is a spacer for the lower mount. Any machine shop can make them for ya. $225 shipped to your door... I just added a long travel front end to mine so I don't need them.

As far as putting a 450r swingarm on it, you will also need to get a 450r axle, or change carriers out. The 450 carrier wont work with a 400 axle. The rear shocks won't work either. The mounts are different. I was going to get a stock AXIS rebuild for LT for mine, but can't now. So you need to get all 400 stuff. Take a look on ATV Riders for some parts. TONS there lately...

**You can use 450 shocks on your stock arms also, just can't use 450 arms.**

I have someone buying the shocks. I got a PM from another site saying he wanst them. But go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and you will find what your looking for. TONS and I mean TONS of stuff over there. Go to the bottom of the page and do a search for 400ex. It will bring up all the 400 stuff and edit out the rest for ya. Makes it easier to find. If you want something checked out to make sure it's good enough or whatever, copy and paste a link to it here. I'll take a look for ya!
