I have a Honda TRX 250X I had the carb rebuilt and she ran great, now when I get it fired up you can give it gas and it will run ok at half throttle but when you give it full throttle it bogs down not cut of but sputters like crazy someone said CDI box is bad, I have the manuel for this bike and I did all the ohm checks on the electrical ssytem and it says change CDI box I want to know if anyone has had the same problem with this bike before I spend $150 bucks.

I would make sure the carb is totally clean as well.
IE check the main jet passages, etc.

I have had this thing apart two times and made sure all parts are clean and free of debri, I ordered the cdi box I will try it if not, I will try something else.

Dumb Q, but have you tried replacing the spark plug?
