polaris scrambler trouble

hello from virginia iam new to the forum but i do have a ? i have an 01 polaris scrambler that gas runs out of the over flow tube on the bottom of the carb and also noticed their is gas in the oil any thoughts why this would happen thanks for any input

Hey buddy, welcome to the site.

I noticed you've started this thread in 3 different forums.

I will remove the other to as this is correct one to post in.

I have little to no knowledge on Polaris vehicles so I will leave it to the others but I would recommend taking apart the carb and blowing out all orifices and setting the float and seeing how you go from there

could also be a bad flow valve seat or needle in the carb. theres a rubber tip on the flow needle and seat that could be dried out or begins to fail. did the bike sit for anytime with no gas in the carb?

no the the bike ran fine until i went trail riding and the trails were very rocky and rough and then it just started leaking after that

Lots of vibration in those particular engines. Replace the slide needle and needle jet and also your seat valve assy. And check your float level while you have it apart and really clean good.
Another thing we used to really push was to always shut off the gas, when engine is not running, on polaris's reguardless a good habit to get into to..

you might just do a simple carb clean, with all the vibration and bouncing around you may have lodged something in floats, or needle valve in the carb.
