Got reservations for the dunes. I can't remember what it's called, but we are booked for Wed. June 25 - Sat. June 28. I'll find out what the campground is called and let you know.

Horse falls?
Spinreel?
Honeyman?
Discovery point?

What is the main area? Florence, Winchester Bay, Coosbay?

I will sure try my darnedest to make it!

I'm pretty sure it's Honeyman. Is that a good place? Apparently we can just ride our ATV's from the camp area to the dunes. I'm pretty stoked.

Thumbs up Re: Polaris Predator

Yes, I believe you CAN ride to the dunes straight from the campground.

I hear it IS a good place to camp, though I've never been there.

If I am not mistaken, you will be riding in Florence then.

It is a fairly big place.

Perhaps I could take you to Winchester Bay on Sat.

It is only about 20 minutes south of Honeyman, and has more technical riding if that is what you are into.

That sounds good to me. It really depends on if my shoulder is fully back to full use or not, but if it is, then I would certainly be willing to go check it out.

The reviews all say that they are awesome. I know they're getting more and more common out there.

Sounds like you need to get a really goooooooooood job, or get the parents to sell the boat so you can get all your toys.

The wide stance, extra ponies, good long travel suspension and precise turning make for a good dune machine. That's what I purchased mine for and I'm real happy so far. It will run with any of the rice burners stock vs stock. You can get a good shot of extra ponies out of them by just adding the Pure Polaris (White Brothers) slip on without any jetting changes. I made the slip on, K&N filter and shock wear part of the original deal and got a good discount. If I was a younger dude, that could ride hard for more than 10 minutes, I would also think about adding the factory rezies to the front Fox shocks as part of a new purchase. As old and slow as I am they would be no more than pretty ornaments.

Hey Desert Rat, why don't you throw up some action shots of your polaris in action?

Be cool to see some dune action shots!

I have a similar wish list. The lottery would definitely be nice.
