Well all, here's My little problem.. Was talking smack to a friend of ours 6 or 8 months ago about my Predator and how it would "Eat his YFZ450"....The smack just hit the wall.I have to put up or shut up in 2 weeks when we go to the coast. He has completely redone the the whole bike from the ground up....its fast...What can i do to make it not hurt so bad.Thinking drop a tooth on the front sprocket, pipe and k&n trying to go cheap!!! Help.....A.J.

I would line up to the left on him. Right before you start, hit his kill switch. That should give you enough time to beat him.

My suggestion would be go trade the predator in for a YFZ450.

Kidding, I have no idea what mods are avalible for that machine, I just couldn't resist being a smart a$$.

DO NOT drop a tooth on the front. That will have the opposite effect. I would get the biggest front sprocket available for the machine.

too bad you don't have the 05 pred, because then you could race him in reverse.
In all honesty get some of your favorite BBQ sauce and his favorite beer, I hear 'crow' goes down better with those!

DOOM CREW; the flux capaciters have been on back order since soon after Yami released the YFZ450 on the unsuspecting public!!

Get yourself a cam and a pipe if you don't already have one. Just tell him that you don't expect to beat him over the next two weeks, then when/if he beats you, you can just say, yeah, that's what I thought might happen. I don't think changing your gearing will do much. I've tried that with not much success.

Use the superrooster method, you start by puting gas into your quad by sycphoning it out of his quad. Don't take too much, leave him just enough to get it runing for about two minutes. So when he turns it off to talk trash to you (after the race) he won't be able to start his quad up unless he puts more gas into it. Thats when you ask him for a rematch.... but he can't give you a rematch because he had to "blow up'' his engine to beat you the first time . If you don't want to do all of that just stick a nail in his tire......

Dang. Sounds like you will be a little farther south than us. We will be at Winchester Sat, and as you know, can't ride from one area to the other without packing up and doing some driving.
I would sure love to throw a leg over that Predator sometime. Been wanting to ride one for quite some time now!

Turbo it. Like this 650: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I like how it has to be turboed to beat what looks like a slightly modded banshee.

Go to the pharmacy. Get some of that stuff that will make you puke. Before the race, take it when he's not looking. Barf everywhere. Now you can tell him you didn't feel well and that's why you lost.

Bonus points if you barf on his ATV.

Go down a few teeth in the rear and up one or two in the front, make sure it still had enough power to get going, but she should have some pretty long legs in the long run.
