Default Outlaw reverse help

My friend just picked up a 06 Outlaw with reverse and last night we had to take it out for a blast. It runs great but one thing i noticed is that it has reverse and with no owners manual we could not figure out how to engage it. Can anyone explain how to put the outlaw in reverse? thanks

Default Re: Outlaw reverse help

The '06 Outlaw has a Reverse Lockout located on the right handlebar near your thumb to protect you from inadvertantly downshifting into reverse. Hold the lockout in while you shift into reverse to get it to engage.

Also the users manual can be found here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
