 2002 Polaris Xplorer 4X4 A friend of the family offered me this 4 wheeler, but it has a broken transmission. I have looked at it and one half of the case is chewed up from what looks like a bearing coming apart. The dealer offered him 500 for it, so he has offered to sell it to me for the same. I see transmissions on ebay for decent prices, but none for this make/model/year. I am gonna start looking at the part numbers to see what is interchangeable, but does anyone know off the top of their head what other models will work in this 4 wheeler? Any atv junkyards to contact? Does anyone feel this would not be a worthwhile purchase? sorry, title should of had Xplorer...my bad Last edited by offroad101; 05-27-2009 at 12:43 PM.  |
