Moto z400 tune up?

i have a 05 z400. i have it piped, jetted, and no airbox lid, no other mods that i know. when i first got it everything sounded great, now i seems like it runs rough. when it just idles it does have recommended fluid levels for everything. should i have it tuned up or valves checked? thanks

whare do you live. i live in maine and my friend drove his 300ex with no airbox cover and moistur got in to the valves and screwed it over and that ran really bad. it ended up the valve was getting stuck every other rotation and would not let gas in .
