REMOVING SUSPENSION/TRANSFER CASE

I HAVE A 00 POLARIS 325CC TRAILBOSS the transfercase cracked when the chain blew up. I have taken everything off so the transmission can come out except that it looks like the 1 3/4 nut on the clutch side of the swing arm goes into the tranny. is this the case because it seems like the only thing left to hold it in. i will try to attach some pics soon. what's the trick to get this thing out because i want to see if any damage was done to the insides of the tranny.

Sorry you're not getting any help on this one. Hopefully with me posting it will bump it up and somebody might be able to help you.....assuming you haven't already figured it out.

Thanks for the re-post, I bought a pop-up camper and the priorities have shifted. I hope to be up and motoring by fall for sure. $$$$$$$$ talks
