Moto atv tires

i was looking at new tires and i dont really know what to buy, right now i got maxxis razer and i hate them they only really worked good on a track. i do a lot of coal riding, loose dirt type of riding. and im looking for a tire that can plow up the biggest hills.

Sorry for the late reply.

I am not 100% positive, but it sounds like you might want something that has a more "open" tread pattern.
How about the Kenda "claw"??

For real loose stuff, I have found that an ITP tire does best. BUT, only the Holeshot, SX, or the XC type. The GNCC is pretty much the same as a RAZR, just softer and grooved more. The Klaw does real good also, however, there is not much in the lines of lugs. There is also the newer "GATOR" that is supposed to be a great all terrain tire. Not to much I know of that one...

I have a set of Kenda Bear Klaws on my 300ex and the dig well. I ride a lot of snow and slick mud and they keep it headed in the right direction. I have razors on my shee and agree that for the track theywork well but for playing i ordered super swamper tsl's. The sling mud everywhere but bite like a rabid pitbull!

i put a set of ITP mud lite (short lug) on my 400ex... it rips through the mud/sand/snow etc and hooks up great. they are quite lite and can really throw a roost

i ride in a lot of coal mining areas with a lot of shell and loose stuff. I ride a 400ex with itp trac star tires and to me they held up better than any of the other types of itp or maxxis because i have tried the majority of the itp personally. best bet is the trac star
