If at all possible I would find a counter balanced 2-stroke motor like the lt500. With a non-counter balanaced dirt-bike motors , such as cr250 and cr500 etc, the vibrations will kill a quad frame frame. It would make a good drag bike but I would recommend for mx, trail riding or duning. That has been the number one issue with these type of hybrid quads.
