Well, here I am at 11:59 pm and I just finished my first complete teardown and rebuild of the warrior. Now I know that it may be a small thing for most, but this has been a thorn in my side for many a week now. After I finally got the motor put together I discovered that there were little electrical gremlins crawling all over the place. So, after a complete wiring job (that made me wish I had paid more attention in Electronics in high school), and a little chanting and praying, the go button brought new life to the 4banger. Sorry for tooting my own horn... Good night!!!

Right on, it's always a nice feeling when you put that much time into something that it runs after it is back together. Everytime I went to put my engine back together I was always nervous hoping that it would run without any problems.

I have put about 2 very slow hours on the motor now. Any ideas as to the break in period on it?

beat on it to break it in. dont be nice. it'll set the ring better IMO.
