how do you like kx250f's?

i am in the middle of working a deal to get a 2006 KX250F and i didnt know what people thought of them. i did some research and found out that they had pretty good ratings. i dont want to buy a piece of junk because ive always ridden yamaha and honda and none of my friends ride kawi's so what do you think of them?

I've ridden one and it's a great 250F. The motor screams from top to bottom, and thus far it's been pretty reliable for my buddy. He's owned it since new and had no problems, though admittedly he doesn't ride it that often.

Personally, I don't care for the ergo's but everything else about the bike was fantastic.

I have only ridden one KX250F, a friends 05.

ergos were a lot different than the honda I have. I have ridden YZ250Fs too and the 05 handles kind of like that. slight push compared to the crf but not too bad. Power was decent but I think they have evolved greatly since the 05's. I'd love to ride an 08-09 to see how much. They look awesome IMO one of the best looking bikes out there.

i have a 2007 kx250f and i absolutely love it! everyone around here that has ridden it says its the fastest 250f they've ridden... and all it has is exhaust... lol.

i have also ridden a cr250f, and there is absolutely no comparison. my kawi like dominated over it.. haha.
