crf450 hard to start! HELP!

i have a 2005 crf450r. Its so hard to start. The only way i get it to start is to jump start it. once it is jumped it runs perfect. So if you have any suggestions please help me. thanks

when was the last time u adjusted the valves?

best way to fix that issue is get a yamaha

yeah i am a fan of yamaha... haha but got a honda.... i just got it so i dont know when the last time the valves were checked

i am pretty sure that bad gap in your valves would make it hard to start

typically when a crf gets hard to kick startstart it needs the vavles shimmed or replaced. That is assuming the air filter is clean, and the spark plug is newer/still goodand you have some fresh 93 octane gas in it. A dirty air filter makes any 4 stroke hard to start.
