Default Crf bog...

Well guys i need some advice on this bog on a thumper...Well i timed my squirt and its squirting for 1 sec...I think its hitting the slide some when it squirts which aka causes the bog when u twist the trottle fast..my question is does turning the timing screw in or out make it squirt later? ive got the bog down to just alittle now..

What screw are you refering to as the "timing screw"? The duration of squirt is determined by the leak jet.

Is this a 2006 carb by any chance? They are JUNK on the 250F's. Most of them required all kinds of work.

I was talking to a guy about these yesterday, there is a timing screw that adjusts the fuel timing squirt into the carb on the 150's, if it's hitting the slide then you will be getting a bog, i would try a quarter turn at a time and see what happens. Just keep note of where you started from so you can go back to it if you get it all wrong.
