2010 Kawi's..?

SO! I heard that the 2010 Kawasaki 250Fs are going to be fuel injected..

anyone know if this is true or not?

Reason im asking is I was going to buy a 2009 250 and then someone told me that next year they'd be fuel injected.. and that would just be totally sick...

I havent heard anything but I couldnt see Yamaha and Kawi holding off past 2010 for EFI.

I've heard the same thing but you never know I know for sure that Suzuki is adding FI to there 250's. They had one tested out at Glen Helen about a month back. But then again that could be just a prototype for 2011 who knows. But if you can wait, it be good to hold out until the new bikes come out. Check out transworld motocross if you havent all ready the went to Japan and a few of the 250's had FI on them. But dont hold your breath just because it came out in Japan doesnt mean its going to come out here

Even if they are, i don't expect them to be any faster than the 09. With FI comes an increase of weight normally, plus jetting the 09 was very easy to get right. You should think about getting the 09 i believe there are big discounts on left over stock at present.

Personally, I would wait just so you get a better deal on the '09 if you decide to go that route.

Hmmm, well i think i am going to wait til they come out and see how other people like em before i spend all of the money. And if other people have bad things to say or have weird problems I'll just go get a deal on an 09. Lol. Right now im sportin a 07 kx250f, still love it and not plannin to get rid of it.. but I wanna be cool like everyone else and have a "race bike" and and "practice bike"! Haha. =)

shoot im looking at an 08 honda 450, found 2 for 5,000 brand new. Maybe after the 2010 models hit the floor i can get it for 4500 or maybe even less. Wouldnt that be nice

Maybe I'm just ole skool,but carbs I understand but F I I have a prob with! Same with my 66 GT Mustang and the 2000 mustang I have. The 66 I can work on and believe me it will run with Any newer Mustang

I would have to go back and look, but I thought Transworld said pretty matter of factly that the Honda, Suzuki & Kawi 250f's would be fuel injected in 2010, it was the spy photo issue. Wonder whats up with Yamaha and their delay with EFI?

I think I recall reading in the Transworld mag that all 10' will be FI 250 and of course 450's ... I think the Quote was " 250 EFI are abound "

I went back and looked, they said the kawi, suz, & honda 250f' will be EFI, yami 250f & KTM 250f still a carb. No mention of the yami 450f as the japan teams were still racing the 09's
