Now u done it! lol it depends what kind of riding u do and what u want in a bike. if you want a fast, dependible, and better bike then its honda. or you could settle for a yamaha. Which is better is all opinion on what color u like, modifications can be made to both to make them equal.

I think these sort of threads are pretty pointless and pathetic. You will often find out people who "think they know everything" but really don't and they make stupid comments like (insert bike) is the best, or this is fastest, or this bike sucks...

well that depends on the magazine you read they all said something different.

and did this poll ever say what year CR or YZ? Or are we talking about the model line? I mean an 01 CR is lightyears ahead of an 87 YZ. and same for an 03 YZ and a 73 Elsinore.

Depends on who you are, what type of riding you do, and what year we're talking about.

I have a 2000 YZ250, and that motor rules for off road riding. I can lug it like a 4 stroke, or scream it. I just love that motor.
My 99 CR had a crap motor. Newer, and older CR's have great motors.
Too many vairables - all the bikes are good. Pick a color.

I think they are both underpowered! They need a nice powerband upgrade...the Yami could do nicely with a motorax 5.8 neon yellow powerband and the honda could use more beef...say a 6.7 red powerband!

I am thinking about switching to a YZ250 because My cr's aluminum frame gives it a harshness im not keen on, although it does rippppp

Id say they are the two best brands, you wont be dissapointed with either of them.

The only types of bikes I would buy, but maybe a HAYABUSA.
