grabit Thoughs on Vertex/Namura Pistons

I was told that the 2 stroke KTM's use vertex pistons and they are the best. I have only used Pro-x but I have noticed that the Vertex/Namura pistons are priced less. With limited funds nowadays, I was thinking of putting the vertex piston in my cr250 next piston change. Does anyone have any experiences or thoughts on these pistons? I know everyone preaches how great Wiseco are, but the cost almost double the vertex piston. I would like to change my pistons more often, but I can't keep coughing up $100 every time, I ride a lot.

I have used Vertex in the past and never had any issues.

I have been using namura pistons for the last 6 months and have not had any problems at all. I put one in my 125 last October and it is still running strong

i just changed the top end on my yz250 after leaving it in there for more than 2 years. i just changed the rings about a yr ago and when i pulled everything apart the other day my Vertex piston was still in great condition! will definitely be buying a Vertex again! plus they don't make a bunch of noise like the wiseco ones do... dont know anything about the other brand, but vertex is a good one.
