Default rings

i have a 99cr250 and i rebuilt it a bout 2 months ago and i have lost about all my compresion i can start it with my hand. it had about 7 or 8 tanks of gas run throung it .the piston looks good no blow bye at all. this weekend i raced drag raced and just rode all week . do u think i need new rings . last time i rebuilt it i replaced the cylinder. and i put wiscoe piston and rings.in it

You answered your own thread.
No compression....
you can start it with your hand.....

thats what i thougt it was but ive never had to rering one in 2 months time . but i did give it hell all week so if yuor gonna ride u gotta pay . i called and got a set comeing tammaro. even know i kinda new what was wrong thank u low430

That sounds very wierd that you would have to re-ring that already. Both of my bikes go a lot longer than that...


It's almost obviously your problem having lost all your compression but just seems very odd to me.. but who knows.



Either way hopfully the new rings solve your problem!! Good luck

Maybe its running lean and you destroyed the rings, Maybe its too rich and they washed out?

If its running right they should last a lot longer

it was runing prety lean fro a while. so i adjusted on my carb and got it rigth now . but may be thats what caused it because ive never had rings were out tgis quick

crank bearing and ever thing was good. my dome was black and had carbon on the front and was clean as could br in the back is that normal?

i put the rings in to day and it fixed it dont know how long it will last but she's good for now
