For 2-strokes I have always liked the Honda's but have been leaning towards the RM (Suzuki) They just turn better.

Maybe you could add KTM to the choices as well, they probably sell more 2 strokes than anyone with the 200 and 300 offroad bikes.

I've always been partial to Honda, though I have owned Kawa and Yamaha as well. But, if I were buying one today, it would be a Yamaha without a doubt. I mean, the only companies still investing R&D in the 2stroke are Yamaha and KTM. /Mike

The 2005 thru present RM250s are arguably the best 2-strokes ever built.

I have owned most of the popular brands and all types of bikes over the years that have led up to me attaining geezer status, but Suzuki was always my choice for two-stroke duty and gave me great results. That being said, my two YZ 250's blow away all their predecessors. I am hooked on blue now. Power delivery on the new one is nothing short of amazing.
