Default New Pipe and Silencer

Just bolted on a FMF Gold Series Fatty pipe and Turbine Core 2 silencer to my sons 2004 CR85. Was wondering if anyone knew if the jetting has to be changed when you change these from stock? There is no recommended jetting standards that I could find for the 2004.

Help!!!

can they be run without changing the jetting and not damaging the engine? just called FMF and they recommended changing clip position and pilot jet(is that the same as the slow jet?)

It is possible, but it's best to make sure that your jetting is optimized so that you get the most out of your new pipe and silencer combo. It's also possible that it can run lean and cause engine damage.

Yes, pilot can also be refered to as the slow jet.

You could always pick up the phone and call FMF to be 100% sure.
