Default Leaky Crank Seal???

hey guys,
I changed the oil in my Rm about 5 days ago, well yesterday, I started suspecting that I had a leaky crank seal, considering my bike smokes a lot, and the smoke smells kinda funny. Well I just changed the oil in the RM again to see what it would look like. Well after 5 days, only 1 day of riding, the oil was very milky, kinda white in color, almost grey. I'm guessing I'm burning up anti-freeze? What seal/gasket would be causing that?

The water pump seal is bad. It's located behind the impeller. The coolant is leaking into the tranny, making the oil look like a milkshake. It's not very hard to fix.

Yep, just replace the seal and make sure you put it in the right way. Good luck.

I bet that the bearings will be gone if the seal is.

Also, do you have to take off clutch cover and all to replace the waterpump seal, or just the waterpump cover and then I can take the impellar off?
