I have worked elbow to elbow with Eric. This man is non stop from 7am till bedtime. he accepts phone calls late at night while he is on the futon trying to relax. he works with a headset so he can personally take your call while not stopping work on my cylinder. Give him a break and keep trying to get thru. Would you rather talk to some no brainer who he might hire to answer the phone. Eric is one of the best, which puts him in high demand...BUT he still wants to Personally take care of his customers. I don't know what else I can say. tdub

Fadde, no offense taken! I just feel bad. Eric has been great to me. He rebuilt my 426 for me with the 444 kit, crank and the works and Rich ported my head to boot! I just want him to get the good press he deserves. ---Mike

RHC is probably one of THE most difficult people to reach. Why? Is it cause he is working relentlessly to get MY heads done? Is it cause he is sitting on the confuser? I s it cause he sleeps till noon and calls it quits at 3PM? Nah!
Ron and Eric(and some other well known tuners: ) run their business with the attitude that no one can do the job as well as they can. Unlike PC, FMF, etc, they do the work PERSONALLY. If you send a job to these guys, you can be assured that they do the work. eric has Rich do the 4 stroke heads, but I guarantee that if you send a 2 stroke cylinder to be ported it is done by the man himself. The same goes for Ron...I know cause he has turned me down several times for me to come work for him. But because of this policy, wether it is FM or RHC, you know you are getting the full attention of the man that owns the business, and not some guy working there cause of a job. That is why I highly recommend them.

Compared to Eric?? Knowing Eric, all the actual "porting" is done my no one but him, and anyone working for him is doing "fluff".

Tryce you know EG so maybe you can awnser this...I sen him a 98' Honda cylinder, A cylinder and got back a B cylinder. I had no problems with this cylinder and loved the motor. Does he pre-port cylinders and just exchange them or what?

That is a possibility...IF he or the customer is really pressed for time. The difference between an "a" and a "b" is only .0005". He does not as a rule do this...it could have been a mistake. Your best answer would have to come from Eric.

I will agree that the guy working for him is a bit "fluffy", but fluff, he don't do.
You can have every bit of confidence in Eric AND his help.

Jay, I was not infering that EG's help is not qualified. Just not as qualified as the man himself

Hmmmm....perhaps.
Thing is, his help has been working with him since the 70's. He just happens to be an employee now. I trust Rich every bit as much as I trust Eric.

btw....you have a package heading your way.

Rich has been a close freind and associate of Erics for a long time(and an accomplished tuner on his own right), but until recently Rich has not "worked for" Eric(not that I am aware of in the last 10 years anyway). Besides we were talking 2 strokes here, not 4 strokes which Rich does the porting.
