+1 on that and he is also probably the nicest and most knowledgable guy to talk to. The guy has hand ported some 30000+ cylinders by hand, has tons of books out, and stands behind his work. His kits also tend to be reliable because he doesnt go for MASSIVE displacement increases.

I thought Eric retired a couple years ago? Regardless, if his name is on a product you can be 100% confident it is quality stuff. I had a cylinder on my 96 YZ250 that he did and I would use his products in a minute.

There was some talk of him getting out of it, but he did not. Talked to him on the phone a few times. Very nice guy.

I sent my top end off to him and had the 295 kit done. Port and polished for mid to top, milled head. I lost bottom end but it was way worth it. I installed a JD jet kit on the bike and it made a huge difference. The mid range pull was 10x more hard hitting. Very satisfied with his work. The cost of replacement pistons, rings and specialty head gaskets are a bit over priced but worth the power gains. thinking about either boring my carb or putting a 40mm keihin pwk carb on the yz to gain top end and throttle response.

Default Big bore in KX250

I had Eric bore mine out to 310. Not all bikes from all years can go this large. It picked up just a little vibration from the heavier piston and the top end parts are little pricey when it's time for a new top end. But it is worth it; more power and easier to ride. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
