Does anyone know what cylinders will fit my 1996 cr250

I have a 1996 honda cr250 and does anyone know what years of cylinders will fit my engine. I come across different years for sale on ebay and I just wanted to know what years are the same.

would going into a Honda parts finder and comparing part numbers help? ie, does the same number for 2 different years means its interchangeable?

If I remember right many of the 90's, 00 and 01 cylinders are interchangeable but porting and timing were different and so are the part numbers. I'll try and dig up the old thread, that another member was trying to do the same thing, later on tonight when I get back from work. You may want to do some searching on here and see what you come up with.

Hi, any cylinder from 92-01 will fit. Pretty much all the same other than porting. I have a 1997 cylinder that will fit, I will sell if your interested let me know. Thanks, Chris.
