1998 rm 250

i have a 1998 rm 250 and the stering stem bearning is bad are they bad to replace ive never done it. thanks ever one

No they easy to do.

You just have to remove your forks & handle bars, controls & then unbolt the triple clamp. Remover the steering stem nut & the top triple clamp.

Then you should able to see the bearings!
Are you sure that they are bad & just not loose?

Do they feel gritty or do they have flat spots in them?

In a pinch you can do it without removing the forks from the lower triple clamp.

there kinda grity and they stick . some thimes it takes a good jerk to break it loose. ive gresed them but it's time to replace them.
