Question 1990 cr power valves

hi im new here, and i was wondering if any of you guys know about power valve clearances. i recently destroyed my piston and cylinder wall and so i got it bored out to 67.5 mm. my question is how far to grind the valves and sliders. i dont know if they need to be ground completely flush to the cylinder wall or slightly recessed. im asking because i have heard of pistons expanding when they get hot and i dont know if the valves do that too.

any help would be nice, thanks
