Default 04 yz250 wot problems

Mike bike has started (suddenly) 'blubbering' really badly when I get on it. I check the powervalve and it seems to be working ok. I don't think it is jetting because the bike worked fine before. I took the carb apart and everything is clean.
Clean air filter.
New plug.
The petcock is clear-- anything else?
Could it be the solenoid?

Well, your jetting could be rich from air changes...when you say "before", was the climate different than it is now in your area?

It's not the jetting-- the bike went from pretty good to terrible overnight.
I did set the float.. I set it to spec and now there is no gas in the bowl! I don't get how your are supposed to set the float hight without the tab pressing on the needle. The directions in the manual mention this... the floats were just resting on the top of the bowl when I first opened it.
Besides, would the float hight just suddenly go bad??

I think the CDI may be shot. The resistance on the cdi for the solenoid is reading 7M Ohms.... can anyone else get a reading off their cdi? the manual specifies .7 to 1 M Ohm but I am not completely sure if the manual is referring to the correct pins.
