grabit I finally did it!

Ok, after trying to not do it for quite some time, I finally (with the help of strykmaster) bought the JD Jetting Kit. I just ordered it so I don't have it yet.

I'm very excited about it though.

While I was at it, and knowing I'd be messing with my carb anyway, I went a head and ordered an SME Fuel Screw . I ordered it in Red.

Here's how it looks in gold:

While I was at it... (my wife is going to kill me) I got myself 2 Red SME Billet Oil Filler Caps.

Little more Bling Bling for the CRF!

Actually, I think the needles are color coded??? ones red one's blue. Not sure if it's just a stripe, or what. Anyway, I can't wait to ride it.

I've given the JD kit a serious thought, but I have a hard time stomaching the price tag!

The price??? I think you've missed the boat. I would bet the JD kit is as good or better then a pipe.

Better throttle response, more HP everywhere, and clean jetting.

I don't know how $65 isn't worth it.

Dub C,

I'd be interested to know if there are any markings (numbers/letters) on the needles at all when you get them...mind taking a look before you install them?

BTW, congrats on the new toys! They look pimptastic. Someday I hope to have my airscrew.

It just seems like a lot for a few needles and some jets. I know I'm being cheap, but hey that's me Plus, I don't EVER have 65 bucks just burning a hole in my pocket, I have to work my way up to stuff like that

BTW- nothing is a better deal than my TA was. Nothing.

I think their are. But they are custom triple taper needles, not like anything you can buy anywhere.

I'll let you know though.

You can go check out the jetting forum (over at TT) and see if he lists them with #'s or not. I wonder if he sells them for 2 strokes? I know he has them for almost all thumpers, but not sure about 2 strokes.

Don't worry Cowboy, he'll have to trust my opinion after I ride both bikes back to back.

Just kidding, he's actually riden my bike since then.
